MAA CHANDI

Maa Chandi is our Village Godess, every year several times pujas has been organised by the villagers, it is situated in the western site of our Village. Recently A temple has been constructed for Maa Chandi by the help of Sri Goura Das an eminent dramatist in Orissa. He has donated the Temple for the Memory of his Father Late Srihari Charan Das. Earlier there was huge open place around the Temple but after several houses are made nearby the Temple as a result outside the temple open space has been reduced.

VERY BIG VILLAGE POND

The Village Pond in our village name is Pukhori, it is a very big pond situated in the centre of our village around the pond  villages are made their own house for living. This pond is famous in the area due to the huge area of it. Unfortunately due to non cooperation among the villagers this pond is still durty and unclear as result  nobody can use the water even the water is not suitable for washing of cloth and bath. Today due to bad condition of the pond whole villagers are very much worry towards the pond. Gram Panchayat or the Government department are not look after the pond inspite of several reminder from the villagers. Till no proper action has been taken as yet.

The Nizampur village is a very old village in Balasore District of Orissa State in India. Our village is a small village and it contain 2 nos Temple - one is Maa Chandi situated in western part of the village and other one is Maa Bhagwati situated in the eastern part of the village, the Village has one Government Primary School, one Anganwari centre, One Club its name is 'CHANDI MATA CLUB', A Charitable Trust is working time to time for the village people and the Trust name is LAXMIKANTA RAUT MEMORIAL TRUST, in the middle of the Village a very big Pond is situated around the pond villagers are made their own house. Every year our villagers are organize several cultural and traditional programmes by the help of the peoples. Eminent Dramatist in Orissa Sri Goura Das has born in our village. He has done several social works for the village.
